Ωστόσο, η μη αναμενόμενη πρόκριση της Κροατίας δεν ήταν αυτό που απασχόλησε τα social media, αλλά η παταγώδης αποτυχία της Αγγλίας να το «πάρει πίσω στο σπίτι» η οποία τρολαρίστικε ασύστολα.
